First Came Love, then came Marriage, Then…
We Had another Baby!
July 2024
We’re too tired to come up with a quiz this time.
Q: Who is "Blamaghan"?
A: Once Mahsino Blamoh and Graham Clenaghan knew they wanted to start a family someday, discussions began around the surname of their eventual child Blamoh-Clenaghan? Clenamoh?
Or…Blamaghan?
We’re still deciding.
Q: When should I fly in?
A: We would like to spend the first weeks of Baby Blamaghan’s life bonding and setting some sort of routine. We definitely want this kid to meet all of the family and friends that love them already and would like to start taking visitors beginning the week of Thanksgiving 2019.
We kindly ask all those who wish to hold the baby to make sure they are up to date on flu, measles and TDAP vaccines.
Q: What are we having?
A: A human. We’ve decided not to learn the sex of the baby. If you’d like a color scheme to go off of for handmade gifts, please consider the baby will eventually occupy a forest-themed big kids room.
Q: Can I share pictures of the baby?
A: Mahsino and Graham were fortunate enough to grow up in a time where they were able to opt-in to social media at their choosing. We would like to extend the same opportunity to our child. For this reason, we ask that family and friends do not share photos of Baby Blamaghan on social media.
In lieu of gifts, we’d be honored if folks would make a donation to RAICES or many of the other great organizations aiding in ending those effected by the migrant child separation crisis.
The Legal Representation, Advocacy, and Education Project will provide universal representation for released unaccompanied kids in Texas. Last year, there were over 13,000 (76%) kids who were not represented in immigration court in Texas.
